On Friday afternoon (5/19/06)

The Oakland County Sheriffs Dept. placed two 16 year old male subjects into custody with the connection to the break in and arson of the Oxford Schools Maintenance Building, located in the Village of Oxford.   Arson and break in occurred on Sunday 5/14/06.   Both subjects are from the Oxford area.  

Further investigation revealed that one of the juvenile subjects was possibly making and had explosive devices in the basement of his residence.   Michigan State Police Bomb Squad and ATF were notified. 

Subsequently this evening the Oxford Police Dept. along with Oakland County Sheriff Investigators, the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad and ATF, went to the juvenile suspects residence, located in the Village of Oxford.

A search was conducted for possible explosives.   Unknown was what discovered at this time. 

Juveniles are being charged with the break in and arson to the maintenance building.
